Tour Kanchanaburi (Morning: Elephant ride)

Visit elephant camp so if you always wanted to ride one of these gentle animals then this trip is for you. The elephant will take you on a trail to the river and then take a dip with you on his back. Bareback riding is also possible for those feeling more adventurous. There are also options for rafting as well.

Tour Kanchanaburi (Afternoon: Erawan falls, and Srinagarind Dam)

After the encounter with the elephants now let’s scale it down to something a smaller – the fish. We will visit the Erawan falls. Beautiful falls in the Erawan National Park overflown with water all year round. Their peak is in October and November but a visit at any time of the year is okay. There are 7 levels and anyone with reasonably fit physical condition should be able to trek all the way up to the top level. It’s beautiful along the way with the falls and rainforest backdrop. And if you don’t feel like trekking you can opt out and have a dip at level 2 – 4 as they are most suitable for swimming with large pool-like stream and waterfall curtain. Oh and those fish they will nibble on your feet (harmlessly of course) giving you funny ticklish sensation (some say they give you pedicure).

To close off the trip we will visit Srinagarind Dam. One of the largest dams in Thailand, it blocks the Kwai Yai river, creating beautiful scenery. It holds a reservoir of 7,470 million cubic metres and has 5 power plant stations. Up in the reservoir there are many lodges catering for travelling and recreational activities.
